Dr Des Fernandes Created Environ in 1990, pioneering the very first vitamin A product. Environ was the first product to contain effective doses of vitamin A and a full brigade of antioxidants. The Step-Up System starts at 500iu and goes up to 50,000iu of vitamin A as you progress up the steps, containing the maximum permissible level of vitamin A in a cosmetic product. In 1991 the benefits of vitamin A became scientifically recognised.
